Laura Lefelar-Barch is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in marital counseling and individual therapy, and maintains a private practice in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey.

With almost twenty years of experience as a clinician and a graduate of Seton Hall University Marriage and Family Therapy program, she is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. 

One of her areas of expertise is couples counseling which includes communication problems, sexuality, depression, and anxiety. 

In addition, Laura has presented at national conferences and to general audiences.  She has made numerous appearances on a call-in cable television talk show about dreams.

Laura Lefelar-Barch's treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. She incorporates a blend of conventional and alternatives approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, she works with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.
